Spin trimmer

Built with safety, durability and precision in mind, the AIS spin trimmer is a cost-effective and efficient dome trimming system for blow molded plastic bottles and containers. The systems heated blade technology ensures debris free trimming and the highest possible bottle neck finish. Quick change blade, height and depth adjustments enable the spin trimmer to meet a wide variety of dome trimming requirements. Caster wheels allow the unit to be easily and safely relocated to other production areas.

The long lasting durable aluminum design is a free standing unit that can be easily moved on its built in caster wheels. The solid design makes it ideal for integrating into existing production lines. The system also utilizes an efficient vertical or "upright" flash removal system that precisely cuts each container while requiring minimal power. This easy to operate spin trimmer provides added safety through guarding around the blade and other moving parts, in conjunction with a quick bottle release that allows you to safely free any jams should they occur.

The AIS spin trimmer 1800 is also a highly adaptable unit that trims virtually all resins including HDPE, PVC and PETG. It is built to work with even the toughest containers including multiple layers. The spin trimmer runs at high speeds and can easily keep up with your blow molder. It is able to handle up to 120 bottles per minute depending on the size and shape of the particular container.

This highly adaptable unit allows for the adjustment of the blade height, angle and depth and works with both round and square bottles. The blade elevation can be moved from 36 to 54 inches. This enables you to trim bottles with heights from 2.5 to 16 inches and neck widths from one to three inches resulting in a wide variety of applications. The heated blade technology maintains a blade at a maximum of 450 degrees, ensuring that the trimming process is void of debris.
